Markli Lemons, LLC of ReMarkiTable, LLC, and Skyler M.Lemons, of EXIT Strategy Realty, are available to show you, along with other attendees at Inman Connect Las Vegas, how to use Instagram Reels not only to grow your business, but also to make money from Meta, the parent company of Instagram.

Meta will pay users to upload content. 

Yes, that’s exactly right. The only catch is that your content needs to be well-received, and the most important part is that you must upload it. Reels is a section of Instagram that only features video. Video makes people less comfortable with taking photos than still images.

It is simple to get started. According to the mother-son team, these are the three main steps.

  1. You must ensure that the sun is shining on you 
  2. Make sure your lenses are clean 
  3. Record breaking record

It’s that easy to get started.

Lemons shared one his most popular reels with nearly 20,000 views. This was 10 times more than his 1,800 followers.

The short video clip featured the gated entrance to basketball star Michael Jordan’s estate, which had been on the market. The video was simple and hugely successful. It also performed well even after being in drafts for two months. Now he can’t help but wonder how much better it would have done if he hadn’t waited two months to publish it.

Let’s not wait for your content to get out there.

Other helpful tips that the duo shared were:

  • Zoom out on your videos
  • Follow the trends 
  • Every day, create video content 
  • Use your hashtags

Lemons-Ryhal’s final thoughts were a reminder of the importance of embracing technology. 

“Technology will never replace an agent; however, an agent with technology will replace an agent without technology,” she said.
